In this role, you will have an enormous impact at Seismic.  You will join a team responsible for (1) maintaining our E2E view of our product vision, strategy, and roadmap; and (2) designing and deploying best-in-class product development processes to optimize our product lifecycle, development processes, and collaboration tools.

This will be an individual contributor position. 

What you'll be doing:

Primary: Operations Management 

  • E2E Process Design.  Help design, roll-out, and enable teams on key product lifecycle processes that govern how all teams collaborate to develop and deploy our products
  • Process Program Management Lead or participate in critical lifecycle programs, including (but not limited to) the Voice-of-the-Customer (VoC) program, idea discovery, strategic roadmap planning, new product introduction (NPI), and product end-of-life.
  • Strategic Planning & Executive Support Contribute to both corporate and R&D strategic planning through meeting prep & support, collection and organization of roadmap materials, product readouts, metrics, and other R&D summary materials.
  • Collaborate on Cross-Functional Initiatives.  Participate in key cross-functional initiatives, working closely with stakeholders from all levels across Product & Engineering, Sales, Customer Experience & Advocacy, and Go to Market organizations. 

Secondary: Special Operational Initiatives and Projects

  • Data Reporting & Analysis.  Leverage data from multiple sources for regular R&D reporting, OKR updates, roadmap readouts, and business insights. 
  • Planning Tools Expert.  Become a go-to expert for employing and optimizing our product planning tool stack, including Jira, Confluence, and Airtable.
  • Help shape R&D communications and training strategies.  Develop high-quality messages and training materials to notify or educate stakeholders on new lifecycle processes and product updates/status.  Additionally, work closely with Product Marketing to help influence development of NPI marketing strategy and materials.

What you bring to the team: 

  • Relevant experience in product operations, product management, R&D program management, or related product lifecycle operations function.
  • Deep experience and expertise in an enterprise SaaS environment or eagerness and aptitude to quickly learn.
  • Be the authority on the software discovery and delivery lifecycle processes and champion standard methodologies, metrics, and high-quality standards within your programs.
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrable experience using agile project management tools, including, but not limited to Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence, Airtable, Google Sheets, Powerpoint, Google Slides, Draw.io
