Product at Returnly

The product team at Returnly works to develop both merchant and shopper experiences, build best-in-class user experiences, and lead integrations with industry-leading e-commerce platforms.

As a member of the product team focusing on Product Operations, you will play an important role in defining and executing the vision for Returnly’s product used by over 10 million shoppers and processing over $1 billion dollars in returns. We’re looking for someone with a strong product sense who can enable our product teams to build and deliver best-in-class experiences that delight our customers.

What you'll do

  • Plan, coordinate, and drive discipline around all product processes, including team goal setting, roadmap planning, customer discovery, and product launches
  • Run core product functional team meetings efficiently and effectively, with the ability to keep the team focused on the current priorities and facilitate key decisions
  • Continuously audit, analyze, and improve internal processes as the product team expands and evolves in size, diversity, and complexity
  • Identify best practices and implement standards to ensure execution consistency across the product organization
  • Maintain templates, guidelines, playbooks, references, and resources for product managers (e.g. specs, documentation, release communications, etc.)
  • Manage and optimize all the tools used by the product team related to communication, roadmapping, prototyping, user-onboarding, etc. and make sure the team is using them effectively
  • Directly program-manage large projects and coordinate across multiple stakeholders in support of product team’s initiatives
  • Develop and maintain a working dashboard of metrics for ongoing programs, projects, and initiatives
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the priorities of the product teams and providing data-driven recommendations on ways to improve overall execution success.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company, including engineering, product, finance, and commercial
  • Build communication and strategic feedback loops with other teams and functions
  • Be the central point of contact for the Returnly product team

What we look for

  • +5 years of work experience as program, project, or product operations manager in high growth tech companies or management consulting
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional and cross-org leadership teams
  • Strong project management experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical experience
  • Strong operational background and a track record of making data-driven decisions
  • Experience in companies that employ modern product management & software development techniques, especially modern customer validation
  • Created and refined processes to get to the right outcomes faster and enable course correction
  • Ability to execute on and deliver complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • A can-do attitude and able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. Looker) and using data to identify trends, generate insights, and do problem-solving
  • Ability to understand and react to changing priorities even when not all the information is available.

Location - Remote U.S.

The majority of our roles are remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (with the exception of the U.S. Territories, Quebec, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories) unless the job indicates a different global location. We are currently building operations in Spain, Poland, and Australia.  Employees in remote roles have the option of working remotely or from an Affirm office in their country of hire, and may occasionally travel to an Affirm office or elsewhere for required meetings or team-building events. Our offices in Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Toronto will remain operational and accessible for anyone to use on a voluntary basis, subject to local COVID-19 guidelines.
