Quizlet is the popular, global learning platform and app that millions of students, teachers and everyday people use to study any subject imaginable for school, work or as part of their personal interests -- including two-thirds of high school students and half of all college students in the US. Combining cognitive science and machine learning, Quizlet guides students through adaptive study activities to confidently reach their learning goals. We’re on track to become the undisputed leader in user-generated learning content and engagement, at the scale of YouTube.

Valued at $1 billion, Quizlet has raised over $60 million in venture capital from investors including Icon Ventures, Union Square Ventures, General Atlantic, Costanoa Ventures, Owl Ventures, and Altos Ventures.

To serve our global community of learners, our teams tackle lofty technical challenges and design for use cases across cultures and languages. We work hard, act like owners, and collaborate every chance we get. We’re energized by the potential to power more learners through multiple approaches and various tools.

About the Team:

At Quizlet, the Product Operations team serves as a bridge between our users and the product development teams that ultimately helps teams do great, user centric work. Our core functions include managing our user reported bug pipeline, sharing trends in user sentiment to enable roadmap work, and supporting user facing teams all through a lens of scalability. There is a consistent collaboration with the other teams in User Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

  • Be the primary subject matter expert for focused product area domains developing a deep understanding of how products work and where both issues and opportunities exist
  • Triage, file, and prioritize bugs for product development teams to address, connecting those teams to the ongoing issues that users are facing, and advocate for action to address the issues.
  • Develop scalable, usable and actionable documentation to promote understanding and clarity across teams
  • Roll up your sleeves and do what’s necessary to support your product areas when new issues or opportunities appear
  • Project manage complex product launches within user facing teams with the goal of ensuring they have what they need to successfully support the changes with users and user impacting risks are mitigated
  • Build scalable support to complex organizational problems in partnership with cross functional team leads
  • Serve as a team lead within Product Ops who exemplifies our core values, monitors team performance and streamlines Product Ops working processes to maximize our team impact

  • Experience building strong working relationships with cross functional leaders
  • Experience leading multiple complex efforts and stakeholders to achieve impactful work that drives outcomes
  • Experience building scalable ways of working for multiple internal teams that increase efficiency, decision making and opportunity for users
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions in work operations and needs
