Product Operations Manager

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a product operations manager to join the product team at Modern Treasury. The goal of this individual is to create leverage for the product team. 

This person will be expected to wear a variety of hats. Some sample projects or focus areas starting immediately will be:

• Working closely with PMs on prospect and customer engagements. For example, we constantly create follow-up collateral like proposals, API docs, and workflow diagrams. This person will help to create collateral, communicate it with customers, and partner with the rest of Modern Treasury to scale out our systems for generating content. 

• Analyzing pricing. The product team owns pricing at Modern Treasury and it is important that we are collecting feedback, watching sales calls, and analyzing the impact of changes we make. 

• Communicating product changes, both internally and externally. Our engineering team is shipping both big and small features constantly that require excellent communication. We also must document new and improved features for internal teams like Customer Success.

This role is intended to be a one year tour of duty and is ideal for someone who wants to break into product and high growth startups. This person will report directly to our CPO & Co-Founder, Matt Marcus, and will shadow him and other PMs through customer, prospect, and partner calls. This person will have extensive exposure to the world of high growth startups that use Modern Treasury.

You may be a good fit if:

• You studied Computer Science in college or have a similar technical background. As an API-first product, it is important that you are comfortable speaking to developers and communicating about APIs.

• You have 1-2 years of work experience. We are open to a variety of types of experience, but there are two we would be particularly excited by. One is experience as a product-oriented engineer at a high growth company. The other is as a consultant at a top tier consultancy.

• You are an excellent verbal and written communicator. 

• You are intellectually curious and fascinated by innovative businesses, how they grow, and the technology they need to accelerate that growth.
