Meter’s mission is to make businesses more productive and secure through providing best-in-class internet infrastructure. As a Product Operations Manager you will have a foundational role in delivering our mission by:
Defining and streamlining the processes and systems that enable consistent, reliable, and high quality deployments of Meter’s infrastructure
Solving how to scale operations as our customer base, geographic footprint, and team grow
Driving key decisions on investments in people, process, and products that make Meter Operations work seamlessly
Partnering closely with sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience
The Product Operations team plays a critical role at Meter. Our customers’ first experience with Meter is often defined by the quality of our Operations. Our team has a large surface area — from procuring hardware, enabling sales, and developing partnerships to supporting customers, building internal tools, and shaping our product roadmap. The Product Operations team has a tight feedback loop with engineering, and you will be collaborating closely with our engineering team to improve our Operations and customer experience.
You are excited about building infrastructure and all the gritty, behind-the-scenes work that goes into making it just work for customers
You develop frameworks for decision-making, allowing your team to move quickly and confidently
You understand the trade-offs between building for scale vs. solving for the short-term
You can communicate effectively across diverse sets of audiences — from building contractors to network engineers
You have empathy for both customers and partners and can translate that empathy into meaningful improvements of our products and services
You’ll be working on a team with other experienced engineers and operators - people who have helped scale successful companies previously and understand how to get stuff done, have interests outside of work, and work efficiently so they have time to enjoy those interests.
