About the Department

Cloudflare’s Product Management team is responsible for building products that improve the way the Internet works. Product Management sits at the intersection of software development, design, and business strategy. We shape high-level product goals but are also hands on. On an average day, Product Managers might pitch a concept to senior leadership, create a launch plan with marketing, work with designers to conduct user research, prototype a new feature, iterate on a spec, analyze usage data, or pair with an engineer on implementation. We have ultimate responsibility for understanding our client needs, influencing business strategy, feature specification, and working with engineering to develop our software.

About the Role

As part of Cloudflare’s Product Operations team, the Product Operations Manager - Application Security and Performance - you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing go-to-market activities that drive business performance, product adoption, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate puts the customer first, can anticipate their needs before they arise, and guides both roadmap and go-to-market outcomes. You work well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You are self motivated, have a bias for action, embrace change, and can adapt quickly while staying detail-oriented.

What you’ll do

Gather customer insights and feedback on Cloudflare’s Application Security and Performance product suites. Be the voice of the customer, infusing the learnings back into the organization and product roadmap and ensuring effective launches of differentiated features.
Work closely with Product Managers and their teams to formulate and communicate our product vision, strategy, framing, and positioning.
Maintain responsibility for all go-to-market coordination including, but not limited to, new product/feature introduction, definition of market opportunity, targeting and segmentation of markets, and opportunities and facilitate time-to-value improvements.
Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop programs and GTM content across cross-functional teams including content creation for product launches, website content, social media, product videos, webinars, tradeshows, case studies, blog posts, and more.
Maintain a firm grasp of the competitive landscape and identify areas of competitive differentiation for internal consumption and competitive programs.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

7+ years of relevant experience in product management
Experience and comfort in building and influencing cross-functional relationships in a highly collaborative environment.
Proven creative thinker with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience creating engaging and educating content.
The ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
Be comfortable and thrive presenting to large audiences as well as be able to go-deep 1:1 with customers.
Experience with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), API security, Bot Management, client side security or load balancing and is a bonus but not required.

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $140,000 - $172,000.
For New York City-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $158,000 - $193,000.
