And we need your help. So, join us to build tomorrow, today.

About the role:

Checkout.com is seeking a Product Operations Manager to join our Product Operations team. The role is a unique opportunity to support the company in enabling businesses and their communities to thrive in the digital economy.

Product Operations’ mission at Checkout.com is to create a predictable, reliable, and efficient product development organisation. You’ll be working in partnership alongside Product, Technology and Design leaders, playing an active role in driving the operational effectiveness of our teams, bringing about the right structure and processes that support the business as it scales, and helping to build a strong cross-functional community and culture. Working in a very dynamic environment, you’ll be required to be adaptable, accustomed to dealing with ambiguity, and have a strong problem solving mindset.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Structuring the right cadences, forums & processes for the Product Development organisation to flourish at scale
  • Establish internal frameworks and manage the adoption of set standards to improve cross-functional focus, prioritization and alignment
  • Perform discovery, run experiments and track feedback in order to develop solutions in an iterative manner
  • Drive a more data-informed approach across Product and the wider organization, collaborating closely with the Data teams
  • Own the management of key product management tools, identifying gaps in our tooling ecosystem and look to address them through researching solutions
  • Actively listening and talking to customers (those in the Product, Technology and Design organisation) to understand their problems and pain points. Converting that into opportunities to make positive change.

About You:

  • Previous experience in Product, Strategy or Business Operations role that has worked closely with Product, Engineering and/or Commercial teams
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working with stakeholders in multiple functions across the business
  • You relish the challenge of solving complex problems that have impact at the organisational level. The size of the problem doesn’t intimidate you, rather it motivates you to tackle it.
  • Ownership and accountability are exceptionally important to you, and you take pride in the work that you deliver
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your communication to the audience
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Miro, Looker (or other BI tools), and broader product management tools/ roadmapping software is a plus
  • Experience working with third party vendors is a plus
  • An understanding of the payments industry and competitive landscape is a plus
Please feel free to apply, even if you don't have all the required experience.
