Join the team as our next Product Operations Manager within Twilio’s R&D Program Management Office!  In this position you will effectively partner with Product and Operational leaders across our R&D organizations with specific focus on Billing Platform’s product operations and analytics.

About the job

The Twilio Product Operation team builds the strong foundation needed for consistency in product planning & execution, measures, and operations.  We empower our product and engineering teams to make strategic decisions with high confidence, quickly.

This position is needed to support Twilio’s R&D operating rhythms, ensuring alignment, while driving efficiency improvements and reducing waste in our processes.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and R&D Operations to establish meaningful product goals, track success towards set goals, and evaluate results in order to improve our operations
  • Lead developing and expanding practices in areas such as structuring analyses, dashboard design, and data visualizations to communicate meaningful metrics within the business to inform strategy 
  • Develop scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Building working relationships with key stakeholder cohorts to for timely and cohesive communications
  • Evangelize best practices and partner with product managements to align on frameworks 
  • Establish onboarding process and resources for new Product Managers 
  • Take the initiative to drive projects forward and bring clarity even under ambiguous circumstances.
  • Act as a culture and process leader for the overall Product Operations team

Required:

  • 3+ years experience in Product or R&D Operations at a large scale organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and relentless follow through
  • A high level of motivation and a self-starting / proactive attitude
  • Strong analytical capabilities with tools and languages such as: SQL, Python, Excel, Looker, Tableau
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team. 
  • Experience making objective prioritization decisions against competing priorities 
  • Leads with logic, empathy, and influence (without direct authority) 

Desired:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in the Quote-to-Cash process or billing systems 
  • Thorough understanding of client segmentation, pricing and product packaging 

Location 

This role will be in United States/Remote.

Colorado applicants: 

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $115,760 - 159,170.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
