Product Operations Lead, Shopify Core (Remote, Americas)

You’d be doing things like:

• Structuring and facilitating product planning activities to identify and articulate priorities, and organize roadmaps and teams around them 

• Building systems for constant alignment, visibility into progress and risks, early feedback and rapid product decisions

• Partnering with Product Leadership to drive product planning and identify areas of opportunities or risks informed by product metrics. 

• Partnering closely with leadership across disciplines to drive team focus and culture 

• Collaborating with frontline teams, Data, Marketing and Product Research to surface insights

• Ensuring the right people are involved in critical decisions early, regardless of the team they’re on

• Defining and optimizing shared practices, while understanding when and how to customize for a specific context or let teams diverge 

• Leading and coaching product operations managers

• Create order out of chaos by asking tough questions and communicating clearly

• Design minimum viable processes and influence team behaviours 

• Think in systems while rolling up their sleeves and get things done

• Seasoned in cross functional and cross level stakeholder management with the ability to identify when to bring the right people together at the right time to drive progress 

• Build high trust relationships with senior leadership and achieve buy in

• Bring experience with people leadership, strategic planning and product management

• Care deeply about data and can tell compelling stories with data to influence product decisions 

• Thrive in a digital by design working environment
