About the role

The Product Operations Lead is responsible for strengthening PDE (product, design, data science and engineering) KPI/accountability, product development velocity, and cross-functional partnership, ensuring that new features and products are ready for scaled release. Product operations will advocate for PDE goals while balancing the needs of their cross-functional partners in the Operational, Sales, Marketing, and Capital Markets teams.

What you'll do

Leadership

This person will be the founding team member that establishes Product Operations at Divvy Homes, starting as an IC but over time building out a team of Product Operations leads.
Responsible for reporting out on PDE and shared cross-functional KPIs to the executive and leadership team, along with insights and observations on how we might improve.
Scale and oversee a new “Voice of Customer” program (both internal and external-facing customers) with business team partners to surface key insights and inform product development teams and company strategy.

Cross-functional collaboration

Collaborate with the product team on product development and act as primary liaison with business stakeholders as needed in regards to progress, timelines, and launch plans.
Ensure functional stakeholders are aligned on key objectives for the program / product and agree on strategies to remove roadblocks.
Ensure that customer-facing teams are equipped with the information and processes required to support new productsIdentify key problem areas and/or geographies that will be impacted by the new product launches & scoping out possible solutions to address these issues.
Surface customer insights and opportunity sizing to accelerate product development that improves customer experience.
Provide visibility and accountability across all Divvy teams with reporting/insights on KPIs and key business metrics.

Communication & internal knowledge development

Refine and adjust communication channels between product and business teams to ensure company alignment.
Advocate for the PDE team's efforts and communicate regularly (regarding critical fires, on-going issues, project updates, and other items) to keep necessary partners informed of resolution plans.
Document and build internal resources for product surface areas.

Qualifications

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver against deadlines with different teams.
Experience supporting product development and launches across multiple organizations and teams within a scaled company.
Excellent written and verbal reasoning and communication skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts and instructions into non-technical terms for internal and external communication and with customers.
A desire to move fast, break through walls, and act with confident humility.
Strong attention to detail; analytical and inquisitive nature.
Empathy for customers, and passion for helping them.
Self-starter personality; comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing environments.
