The Role
We’re seeking a Product Operations Coordinator to facilitate and drive key projects in the One Product Group at SimplePractice. You’ll facilitate the operational needs of the group, directly supporting the Senior Product Operations Manager.
This role will assist with all operational aspects of the Product (Product Design, Product Management) and Engineering group to support successful and timely delivery of projects. You will organize and manage project plans, identify and remove blockers, facilitate effective communications and meetings, and be willing to jump in wherever needed to move activities forward.
You’ll also identify lightweight operational processes and frameworks that can help support the needs of the group—with a focus on flexibility, adoption, and alignment with our company culture. You’ll work closely with the entire One Product Group to identify solutions to inefficient and ineffective workflows.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer focused operator who loves to drive initiatives & derives satisfaction from helping people, solving problems, & creating and/or optimizing processes. You will gain first-hand insight into the inner workings of Engineer, Product Design, and Product Management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product board maintenance across Asana and Pivotal Tracker, ranging from clean up to performance management and tool evaluation
- Manage information and communication needs across Product stakeholders to ensure cross-functional input is provided in a timely manner
- Proactively track work across multiple product experiences to proactively drive alignment and effectively communicate and manage expectations
- Assist with coordinating projects, always taking the mindset of how to constantly make a project better
- Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders to coordinate product release plans with stakeholders, including Customer Success and Product Marketing
- Create and maintain documentation for all processes, training colleagues where required
- Manage competitor accounts
- Lead and coordinate Product team meetings
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2 years of experience in Product, operations or project management
- Familiarity and comfort facilitating projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and structuring skills, with proven ability to communicate actionable insights
- Ability to work at a fast pace with the scrappiness and flexibility required for success….. and you love it
- Strong communication skills. Through every medium, and everyone you come in contact with, you know how to communicate effectively, elegantly, and with respect, always
- Ability to manage conflict and resolve difficult situations
- Outstanding work ethic, ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and deliver multiple tasks on time
Bonus Points
- You naturally like to keep track of tasks via “To-Do” or checklist
- You have experience with Excel/Google Sheets and a keen interest in expanding your knowledge
- You have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
