Product Marketing - Merchant Communications at Checkout.com
Checkout.com is looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our newly established communications team servicing our growing merchant base. In this role, you'll help deploy key communications from the product organization to our user base, including critical changes to our suite of payments products, key updates to pricing, and updates to our product functionality.

You'll work within our existing suite of tools and partner with the wider Product, Engineering and Marketing teams, to ensure an integrated approach to merchant communications. You'll collaborate closely with our Customer Success team to streamline the deployment of operational communications and will partner with our Business Intelligence and Sales Operations organization to ensure that the right information goes to the right customer at the right time.

This is the opportunity to join a newly established merchant communications operations function and help build our processes. You're passionate about strong communication, love learning new systems and tools, and be excited about sharing ideas that help Checkout.com operate more optimally and efficiently to serve our customers better. You should also have a creative, innovative approach anchored in an obsession with analytics.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with our Product, Product Marketing and Customer Success teams to define the right timescales to inform customers of key product changes
  • Write, edit, and send the communications to our merchant base
  • Work with the Client Communications Manager within Product Marketing to refine our foundation for scaled communications, including pricing messaging and internal awareness
  • Be creative and inventive in the messaging approach
  • Partner with design to ensure the use of graphics and illustrations in merchant communications

About you:

  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in a client communication, product marketing or similar role within a B2B organisation
  • Payments experience is strongly preferred, or experience in writing in a regulated technology industry
  • You have experience proactively working alongside various stakeholders to optimally distribute communications
  • You love getting things done and working in teams to complete multiple projects on time
  • You have a keen eye for detail and excellent copy-editing skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • Working knowledge of mass communication tools
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative teams, engineers, analysts and product managers
  • An energetic and willing attitude
