Product marketers (PMMs) at Asana play a core role in shaping how customers experience the product, sitting as strategic and tactical partners between the R&D and revenue teams. With the R&D teams, PMMs are key partners throughout the product development process and provide market and customer insights on what we should build and who we are building it for. With revenue teams, PMMs lead the go-to-market strategy and craft compelling messages and stories, which ultimately lead to customer acquisition and product adoption.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help shape and drive product and go-to-market strategies within our fastest-growing product area, Workflows. The Workflows pillar helps our customers make the process of getting work done efficient, effective, and delightful. As a Product Marketing Manager on Workflows, you will work across marketing, sales, product, and design to help define the vision of key features like automations, integrations, and more. To be successful, you'll need to be someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and is excited to partner with teams across the company to create the best experience for our customers.

What you’ll achieve

  • Build relationships and partner with teams across Asana to define marketing strategies and execute on those plans to bring them to life
  • Gather and synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights to inform product and go-to-market direction
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that excites and educate customers, and optimize the channels through which you communicate them
  • Learn about customer use cases & feedback, package those insights, and promote them in a way that inspires action

About you

  • Have 6+ years of product, marketing, or relevant experiences
  • History of productive collaboration with product, design, and sales
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
  • Brings a great attitude and willingness to learn
  • Nice to have: B2B software experience
