Splash is looking for a Product Marketer who can help us execute go-to-market strategy and revenue enablement. This person is able to think strategically, but will also be in the weeds with all of the necessary execution, which will include production of a variety of product content and messaging materials, competitive enablement (e.g. battle cards), website copy, training materials, etc. This person needs to be an exceptional writer, communicator, and educator. They need to be organized and able to build consensus, especially with product and sales. Additionally, they must develop a deep understanding of our market, our competition, our product, and Splash’s unique positioning.
Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new features and services, including positioning, packaging, distribution, promotion, and differentiation.
Work with Product Management to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages.
Create toolkits for sales, CS, and marketing for all product releases and launches, ensuring they are equipped to sell the solution, including messaging and positioning by user/buyer persona and vertical.
Develop internal and external collateral: playbooks, competitor battlecards, datasheets, webinars, presentations, etc.
Deliver sales enablement materials and programs that increase close rates and decrease time to close.
Collaborate with the Product team on both the internal and external product roadmaps and how and when to communicate them.
Support demand generation activities from messaging definition, thought leadership, and collateral development.
Support the content team with thought leadership content, customer success stories/use cases, PR & AR initiatives, and events.
Be the liaison between product, marketing, customer success, sales, and the broader business for timing and scope of new rollouts, launches, etc
Qualifications:
5+ years of product marketing or related experience at a B2B SaaS company.
Strong product instincts and technical curiosity, which translates to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging.
Ability to identify and create a range of marketing assets to generate interest, sales, and product adoption (and a portfolio to show).
Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans, competitive enablement, and market research.
Strong communication, presentation, writing, and analytical skills; you care about measuring results, iterative processes, and proving impact.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Executional excellence; you have a keen eye for detail, process, and timeline.
Collaborative attitude, with an enthusiasm to work cross-functionally.
Worked in the event marketing or event technology industry.
Created competitive enablement using a platform such as Crayon or Klue.
Delivered product webinars and demos to prospects and customers.
Presented at a user conference or product roadshow.
Conducted market research, analyzed win-loss reports, and/or interviewed your target market.
Been certified as a Product Marketing Manager, or have notable technical/software certifications (e.g. Tableau, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.)
