About the team

Product Marketing (PMM) is a global team of user-oriented marketers, partnering closely with many of Stripe’s world-class teams including product, engineering, integrated marketing, communications, and design.

Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, lead go-to-market for our suite of products, and create and execute campaigns to drive product growth

Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Design, Developer Relations, and Communications to name a few

Our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption Post-launch

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Product Marketer leader who will lead our solution and product sales enablement team for PMM globally to help align product marketing to the entire Sales organization and drive greater outcomes for Stripe.

This role will be responsible for leading, shaping, organizing & enhancing go-to-market facing enablement programs that originate from within Product Marketing. You will be working closely with PMMs on Tier-1 launch enablement, ensuring key market moments are integrated into global campaigns, shaping quarterly sales-play plans and representing product marketing in deciding sales enablement priorities. This role will be a central point of contact, partnering across the PMM and Global Sales Enablement (GSE) teams.

Located on US west-coast, reporting to International PMM Leader

Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team who act as the single point of contact (DRI) for product enablement initiatives for PMM. 
  • You will operate as a ‘player-coach’; setting the strategy and executing the programs. Leading (and building) our PMM Enablement team and developing other stripes.
  • This role will lead, shape, organise and enhance solution & product-based enablement programs (and certifications) to help sales create higher quality opportunities, boosting average deal size & win-rate
  • Partner closely with PMMs on major launches (and impact how we improve them), ensuring we have aligned enablement activities, sales plays and deal support material published
  • Works alongside PMM leadership to collate, assess, review and prioritise product enablement-related content, creation & distribution. Assists in the delivery of content when required
  • Understand what the sales organisation needs in terms of content to help them to become onboarded, enabled and high-performing
  • Sets the tone, templates, standards and best practices to be used in the development of product content
  • Partner with the GSE team to track and analyse the right metrics and execute programs that drive awareness and education on an ongoing basis. 
  • Ensure continuous improvement and relevance of global enablement programs, content and tools by monitoring results and establishing an effective feedback loop with GSE, sales, key stakeholders and subject matter experts

  • A collaborative team player. Product Marketers collaborate across the wider Marketing team, PR, product, sales, comms and basically with every team at Stripe. You are able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work
  • Optionally, knowledgeable about payments. You have an understanding of the network of partners and stakeholders in the payments ecosystem, and are excited about telling the story of how Stripe’s platform is differentiated within this space

Requirements

  • 7+ years of work experience that includes 3+ years direct ownership within at least two relevant functions, from sales enablement, sales, product marketing, product management, pre-sales, or strategy consulting
  • 2+ years of experience in managing and developing people
  • Prior experience working on enablement programs with the sales channel, and can demonstrate examples

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in B2B settings and with sales teams
  • Experience in the fintech space working closely with product development, sales, and partnership team
