About the Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager with a proven track record of creating positioning, messages, and materials that enable B2B enterprise sales.

In this role, you will distill the product’s unique differentiators, determine the marketing strategy, and help manage the rollout of new features. We are looking for someone with superior project management skills and proven B2B product marketing experience, who thrives in a fast-paced high-growth culture. You should be ambidextrous in your ability to work as effectively with product management and design as you do with sales, marketing, and account management. The ideal candidate will have real experience as a product marketing manager or in an external-facing product management role at a technology company targeting business enterprise buyers. Experience at a SaaS company is preferred, as is working knowledge of the payments, retail, and eCommerce space.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement product marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives for your products, and ensure effective communication of product positioning, value proposition, and messaging to the GTM organization and market.
  • Work closely with product management to identify target markets, customer needs, and market trends to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate go-to-market initiatives to raise product awareness and adoption and achieve category leadership, including supporting events, public communications, content creation, and demand generation campaigns.
  • Be a subject matter expert and thought leader for your domain and product both internally,  owning knowledge transfer and overall GTM education, and externally, through industry conferences, analyst briefings, and the like.
  • Understand our buyer personas and partner with GTM and product management to develop positioning and messaging that resonates with our audience.
  • Drive the development of compelling content to enable and accelerate the sales cycle, including creating sales kits for new buyers, success stories, competitive positioning, solution briefs, analyst presentations, and more.
  • Support strategic deals and analyze the pipeline to understand what is effective “in the field”, and use this feedback to inform marketing priorities and adjust our materials.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of competitors’ messaging and marketing strategies to stay ahead of the curve and ensure clear differentiation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product marketing in a B2B SaaS company, preferably in the digital payments or eCommerce space.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively position B2B products for growth in the market, working with marketing and sales to build a healthy pipeline while increasing the velocity and rate of closing deals.
  • Self-driven, flexible, and can handle challenges while maintaining your cool and sense of humor.
  • Works well independently, but enjoys collaborating as part of a tea, with demonstrated ability to effectively engage with external and internal stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual), both for internal audiences and customer-facing messaging, with experience building and leading training to GTM 
  • Strong analytical skills, highly capable of interpreting data, performing qualitative research, and distilling results into actionable key takeaways.
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience, MBA preferred but not required.
  • Pragmatic Marketing training and experience preferred
