Mission

Acquire new CoinTracker users at scale by marketing existing & new products, as well as new country launches. Own CoinTracker’s marketing channels (blog, email, Twitter, etc.).

1-year outcomes

  • Marketed 5+ CoinTracker product launches (new exchanges, new features, new partnerships) across channels

  • Drove 1M new CoinTracker registrations by marketing 20 new country launches

  • 5x+ blog posts/emails shipped per month and distribution grown to 100K users

  • Grew followers of CoinTracker's owned social media presence to 50K (Twitter, Meta, Reddit)

  • Drove 1M new CoinTracker registrations via marketing partnership integrations (e.g. Coinbase, Intuit, OpenSea, etc.)

  • Experimented with two or more channels to grow awareness of CoinTracker’s products (influencers, podcasts, etc)

Role-related knowledge

  • Marketing fundamentals

    • Identify the right audience

    • Identify where the right audience is across channels

    • Take the product marketing message and run campaigns that convert across owned and paid channels. Experiment with new innovative channels such as influencers and podcasts

  • Storytelling and content writing

    • Impeccable written and verbal communication

    • Make complex topics easy to understand

    • Create and execute on clear messaging on the value to users; storytelling

    • Rigor to write blog posts and emails on a recurring basis

    • Create succinct and clear communication to consumers

  • Crypto and product savvy

    • Knowledge of the crypto space

    • Partner with Product to understand the value of a new product to consumers

  • Operational savvy

    • Partner with a cross-functional team (Product, Partnerships, Growth) to project manage launches across owned and paid channels

    • Coordinate an international launch

    • Partner with PR team to tell story through earned media

    • Work with Growth to ensure that campaigns are converting

Some experience we're excited about:

  • 6+ years of marketing experiences at top-tier, high-growth B2C tech companies

  • Experience successfully launching new products to mainstream mass awareness

We have minimal process, and the majority of our time is spent working and collaborating asynchronously through tools like Figma, Github, Google Meet, Linear, Notion, Slack, Zendesk.
