What is Polygon?

The Role
In this role, you’ll be working to craft unique go to market strategies for Polygon Studios partner projects. You’ll be responsible for meeting with Polygon Studios partners, learning about their projects, and campaigns across the Polygon Marketing ecosystem and beyond.
As a Product Marketing Manager for Polygon Studios, you’ll collaborate closely with the rest of the Polygon Studios Marketing Department, as well as with the Product Marketing Managers from each Polygon Solution (Hermez, Nightfall, etc)
For this Product Marketing Manager role, the ideal candidate will have an extensive understanding of the gaming industry, landscape, and various go to market strategies for both Web 2 games and Web 3 games.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for go to market campaigns for Polygon Studios Partner projects.
- Collaborate cross functionally across the rest of the Marketing Department, as well as the Business Development Team, Strategy Team, and Partner Success Team.
- Provide a high level of “5 star customer service” to our partners, and advocate internally for their success.
- Find unique opportunities to expand our marketing capabilities for our partners, as well as for our Polygon Studios brand.
- Manage a full calendar of projects, with a special attention to details.
- Help manage multiple external vendors, and the overall marketing budget.
Requirements
- Experience with the core concepts of Ethereum and Web 3, including NFTs, the Metaverse, and play to earn gaming.
- At least 3 years of experience in the gaming industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in Product Marketing (encouraged, but not required)
- Consistently positive and upbeat demeanor
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build solid working relationships across the team - from individual contributors to the founders
- Demonstrates a “high organizational IQ”, successfully managing geographically distributed teams and partners
- Hands-on as needed with the ability to dive deep when needed
- Leads by example, creating a sense of energy, ownership, detail orientation, collaboration, and personal commitment to the work
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix environment and being the connective tissue between many different teams and collaborators
- Extremely organized, responsive, responsible, and accountable
- Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills
