Our mission is to empower eCommerce stores to unlock their full potential. Want to join?

Wayflyer is revolutionising the eCommerce space by leveling the playing field for eCommerce founders across the world. Unlocking and fueling their growth through solving their two biggest pain-points: funding and insights.

We use data to solve both of these challenges, empowering store owners with insights on how best to acquire customers online and providing them with short-term financing to scale and unlock their store's full potential.

Why Wayflyer?

Wayflyer is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup that serves a critical need for eCommerce entrepreneurs. You'll be joining a hypergrowth, ambitious, collaborative team that's working on a huge opportunity.

We have countless opportunities as we launch new markets and game-changing products and need teammates that love having high impact in a fast-moving and ambitious company.

Since launching in April 2020, we’ve deployed over $550m in funding across 8 countries to 1000+ eCommerce founders.  In 2021 alone, the amount of funding we deployed to customers grew by 900%. We recently announced our Series B, raising $150m in funding at $1.6bn valuation; backed by world-leading VCs including Left Lane Capital and DST Global. There are 250+ of us globally, split between our offices in Atlanta, Dublin, London and Sydney.

The Role

As Product Marketing Manager for Acquisition you'll be joining a high performing team focused on growing Wayflyer. You'll be responsible for all acquisition channels for our main product (funding). We're an ambitious bunch and are looking for someone who is excited about building out this important team at Wayflyer.

In terms of benefits, you'll be compensated well and get a huge amount of autonomy and flexibility.

What will I do?

  • Own the marketing activation for all our partnerships - working with our partners to develop co-branded campaigns and user journeys to drive growth
  • Define and orchestrate all online and offline partnership marketing efforts across global marketing channels including social, webinars, email and more
  • Be responsible for the positioning of our product with each of our partners, working closely with our partners to figure out their user needs and how we can create a combined offering that meets those needs
  • Develop and implement acquisition initiatives for new partner launches, including localisation of campaigns
  • Develop marketing content to support our partnership team in both acquiring new partnerships and activating existing partnerships
  • Work closely with Sales teams to ensure you are generating qualified leads aligned with their team targets
  • Work with the rest of the marketing team to make sure consumer communications across all channels and products are consistent and on brand

What skills do I need?

  • You have a proven track record of defining and executing customer acquisition strategies that deliver against funnel metrics and KPIs - ideally in a high-growth B2B technology company
  • You can take initiatives from Zero to One. You know how to quickly test new initiatives, double down on those that work and kill those that don't.
  • You don't just use traditional marketing channels to drive acquisition. You think from first principles and are capable of coming up with new ideas and testing them out.
  • You have experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns - you should be comfortable talking to designers, engineers, analysts and marketers.
  • You know how to create a high converting user journey - you know what great creative, copy, landing pages and sign up pages look like and know how to create them.
  • You have experience across a wide range of marketing channels and demand generation strategies. Specifically, you know a lot about email marketing, marketing automation, content and event marketing.
  • You have a deep understanding of lead management and sales funnel management
  • You care a lot about building and maintaining Wayflyer's brand and know how to work with Brand teams to deliver on shared objectives
  • You are exceptionally good at managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. You know how to get buy-in, when to say "no" and how to get things done!

Why me?

  • You like moving fast and testing things.
  • You are a creative individual, capable of coming up with entirely new ways for us to reach our audience and generate growth for Wayflyer.
  • You're curious. Especially about user behaviour and psychology. You're always learning something new and testing out bold ideas.
  • You're highly analytical. You always make decisions based on numbers and facts.
  • You're driven. Working in a start up isn't for everyone. You should be comfortable with a fast pace and aren't afraid to try new approaches.
  • You've got a growth mindset: You're open and receptive to feedback and can adapt quickly in fast-paced environments.
  • You're impact focused. You're obsessed about your work driving great results.
  • You've got great communications skills. You listen well and present your ideas and thinking clearly and confidently regardless of audience.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and have experience building strong relationships with other teams - specifically Sales and Product.

Why now?

  • 2022 is set to be our most ambitious year: tripling our headcount, entering multiple geographies and launching new game-changing products to further revolutionise eCommerce.
  • You'll be having a huge impact on our company's ultimate growth and success.
  • You'll be working with different disciplines and across a multitude of projects to bring your ideas through to fruition.
  • You'll be highly independent and autonomous. As a leader within the company, you'll get to make decisions, you're not a cog in someone else's machine.
  • You'll be defining the culture of Wayflyer. 'The early team you build is the company you build' - you'll leave a lasting impact.
