Bolt is on a mission to perfect checkout for online retailers and make sure nothing gets in the way when shoppers decide to buy.
Our Product Marketing team sits at the center of product and sales, combining deep product and industry knowledge to drive go to market strategy. We’re looking for a product marketing MBA intern who is collaborative, driven, and excited to make an impact.
Bolt’s technology is a fit for retailers of any size. Historically, we’ve focused on enterprise and retailers with $3M annual gross merchandise value. In 2022, Bolt is launching innovation focused on small and medium businesses. You’ll lead research initiatives and make recommendations for how marketing should position Bolt and how product should tailor our roadmap to win in this space.
What you'll do
- Manage research project to answer key business questions
- Segmentation & targeting: what are the key segments and where can Bolt win?
- SMB ecommerce pain points
- Uncover insights on SMB software purchase behavior
- Technical barriers to entry and how we can overcome these challenges
- Pricing: how should Bolt price to win with SMBs
- Recommend and begin implementing a marketing strategy to help Bolt expand SMB market share
- Partner with PMs to recommend medium and long term areas for innovation
Must Have's
- Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program graduating in 2023 with US/Canada work authorization or CPT eligibility
- Experience in message development and content creation
- Experience working with a sales team and developing sales collateral
- Excellent communication skills; client-facing experience is a plus
Nice to Have's
- Background in eCommerce, compliance, or payments is a plus
