What we’re looking for

Our Product Marketing team is responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies that increase product awareness, drive adoption, and support revenue growth across SurveyMonkey products. Product Marketing is looked to as the expert in market and competitive intelligence, customer insights, product messaging, and go-to-market strategies. This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing and focuses on our freemium, self-serve offering, specifically driving GTM strategy for individuals and small teams. 

We are looking for a strategic and creative Product Marketing Manager to deliver a winning go-to-market strategy that drives continued growth for our self-serve business in a crowded competitive environment. You will have deep experience developing clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging, leading go-to-market initiatives for major and incremental product launches, and proactively communicating market insights to product management partners to influence roadmaps. 

What you’ll be working on

  • Bringing exciting new product features to market by leading launch strategy, cross-functional planning, timelines, and more to drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement outcomes
  • Building customer-centric narratives for marketing, sales, and customer success teams to leverage in omnichannel, outbound campaigns
  • Creating compelling collateral, including website content, blog posts, and product demos to effectively showcase our key value propositions
  • Conducting primary and secondary research to uncover customer and market insights to inform your GTM strategies and enable partners
  • Partnering with our internal data team to monitor key metrics that will inform your data-driven GTM strategy
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted partner to the product team through timely insights that inform roadmap decisions
  • Supporting your professional growth by staying ahead of industry trends and product marketing best practices that inform your work

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 3+ years experience in a product marketing or related role, with a track record of developing and executing successful GTM motions
  • Experience with freemium and web-based (SaaS) products is preferred
  • Experience supporting both inbound (product-focused) and outbound (customer-focused) product marketing needs
  • A creative mind and talent for creating compelling messaging and positioning
  • The ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and think through solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
