We’re on the hunt for a full stack Product Marketing Manager, Core Products who’ll be critical in positioning our core products to target personas, and driving product adoption and retention. This role will work closely with our core product teams to inform their roadmap with market and buyer research, and develop compelling messaging that differentiates Gong’s core functionality in the market. You’ll develop deep expertise in target personas—nailing their key use cases and pains—to equip the GTM team with compelling messaging and materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner closely with Gong’s core product teams (mobile, ecosystem, conversations, security/compliance) to inform what we build, who we build for, and how we meet their market requirements through evidence-based research (market, customer, competitive, buyer research)
- Drive GTM strategy and craft customer-centric messaging for our core products
- Conduct market/competitive research, gather sales feedback, and interview customers to develop a deep understanding of core buyer personas
- Create materials and demos for sales and CS teams; iterate based on sales and customer feedback
- Develop processes to understand customer use cases, package those insights, and promote them in a way that drives customer adoption
- Own product launches, campaigns, and content development from start to finish; lead cross-functional stakeholders, work with multiple channels, and measure outcomes to inform future initiatives
- Work closely with Content Marketing, Demand Generation, and Customer Marketing teams to reach core audiences, generate pipeline, and drive product adoption
QUALIFICATIONS
- You are located within 60 miles of one of our hubs: Atlanta, Chicago or San Francisco
- At least 1 year of direct product marketing experience, and 5-7 years of experience in relevant marketing, sales/CS, consulting or product management roles; preferably some experience in the B2B SaaS space
- Ability to go deep into product, and create compelling, customer-centric messaging that resonates with target buyers
- Proven track record of working with product and field teams
- Highly cross-functional, with the ability to partner with different teams across the company
- Stand out verbal, written, visual/presentation and demo skills
- Demonstrated mix of creative and analytical skills; proven ability to succinctly synthesize research and provide recommendations in a clear, digestible way
- Impeccable organizational skills and a strong bias to action; ability to set optimistic but reachable deadlines, and use project and time management skills to meet them
- Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- BA or BS degree
