As a Product Marketing Manager for Loyalty and Retention at Dave, you will report to the Head of Product Marketing and Brand, and partner closely with product and marketing to collaborate and execute on the roadmap and campaigns that will increase engagement, retention, and ultimately drive loyalty with Dave’s product portfolio.  You will develop a loyalty marketing strategy from the ground up, defining the tactics and metrics for success. You will identify high potential segments, key features for these segments to adopt and bring to life a series of tests to understand the best campaigns and methods to drive loyalty with our members. You will leverage a strong understanding of our customers and their key journeys, as well as expertise with product, lifecycle, and promotional marketing comms to create engaging plans and marketing programs to achieve these goals.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical and well-versed in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and develop multi-channel programs with proper implementation, execution, and measurement.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute on the strategy and roadmap for loyalty marketing efforts (including promotions), and define the metrics used to measure success in engagement, long-term retention, and LTV, products per member.
  • Deeply understand customer segments and insights to drive desired behaviors per segment, mapping out customer journeys for key customer segments.
  • Be the expert on our customers by partnering with research to drive projects that uncover customer and market insights that influence the product and marketing roadmap.
  • Develop compelling positioning & messaging that resonates with customers
  • Partner with Growth Product on the prioritization and ideation for in-product experience, cadence, creative, and sequencing of messages across multiple channels (email, in-product notifications, etc), leveraging your expertise in lifecycle journeys and creative marketing to create and continuously test, measure, and improve our tactics.
  • Collaborate with Growth Product and CRM to lead the experimentation to successfully transition users across different stages in their lifecycle journey.
  • Develop a playbook for loyalty campaigns and promotions.
  • Develop seasonal strategy in tandem with other marketing stakeholders to drive user engagement. 
  • Create presentations, visual documentation, and plans that effectively communicate strategies and influence internal stakeholders

What You'll Need:

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, Segmentation Strategy; experience in Growth Product Management a plus.
  • Proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and coordination across functional teams
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, and legal teams
  • Experience with data-driven customer segmentation (behavioral, demographic, etc.) & conducting growth experiments, A/B and multivariate tests, funnel analysis with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience creating compelling marketing content presentations and strong business writing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
