Job Overview:

Coursera’s Product Marketing team connects consumers, educators and enterprises with our world-class learning products, content and solutions. Product Marketers play a key role in finding product-market fit, bringing products to market and driving adoption. In this role, you’ll lead consumer product marketing for a number of Coursersa’s high priority learning products including professional certificates and courses. Coursera is a leader in these dynamic, growing markets and you’ll play a key role supporting our growth and revenue goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product and Design to drive discovery and growth across our website and product surfaces
  • Influence and deliver growth related product marketing website initiatives
  • Activate audience insights to help strengthen product-market fit and shape the product growth strategy for our consumer products
  • Partner with our Product, Design, Research, and Engineering teams to represent the voice of the customer in influencing the product growth roadmap.
  • Develop and own product messaging and develop value propositions, positioning, and go-to-market strategies

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of relevant marketing experience; 5+ of those years product marketing
  • Demonstrate history of prioritization and management of multiple projects
  • Communications skills paired with analytic ability to transform insights into action
  • Experience planning, delivering, and measuring key initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with web development, CMS, design and engineering  teams
  • Experience developing customer journeys at scale with a focus on growth and discovery
  • Proven ability to work closely with and influence product and growth teams
  • Cross functional team experience with the ability to influence with high levels of ambiguity and tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking with an analytical approach based in data and audience analytics 
  • Experience working in edtech or higher education
