We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving the success of Mailchimp offerings in the global market. This will include developing a deep understanding of Mailchimp customers and prospects, products, services and technology, the overall market, key vertical markets and segments, and the competition.

What you'll do here: 

  • Build a deep understanding of our customers, vertical markets and monitor competitive activities through win/loss analysis and identify gaps and opportunities
  • Immerse yourself in the day-to-day of our sales team and be the expert on the needs of our go-to-market teams – what they require to confidently and successfully sell and support our products and solutions
  • Be a subject matter expert on the mid-market audience and their journey, gather insight on buyer personas, including pain points, channels, and purchasing decisions to develop and execute on demand and lead gen campaigns working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Education, Brand, Acquisition and Lifecycle Marketing teams, etc.
  • Collaborate with Sales and the broader Product Marketing team to develop and execute Sales enablement strategies, plans and assets including but not limited to competitive battle cards, playbooks, product one-sheeters, etc.  
  • Manage performance reporting to measure the impact of enablement programs
  • Execute on content and campaign centered around customer buying needs including but not limited to: events, blogs, white papers, case studies, sell sheets, videos, webinars, speaking engagements, etc. 

We'd love to hear from you if: 

  • You have 5+ yrs experience in B2B or B2SMB sales enablement, product marketing in the Martech, SaaS, cloud or mobile technology industries; experience marketing services is preferred
  • You have proven ability to create and execute demand and lead gen campaigns to position unique solutions for different customers
  • Proven track record of shaping acquisition and sales enablement strategies through deep understanding of the buyer and their journey, actionable insights and sound recommendations
  • Proven experience creating compelling messaging for different segments and personas
  • Ability to craft compelling stories, collateral, and tools around technology products and services for both B2B business and technical buyers. Bonus points if you have experience incorporating the Challenger Sales methodology in messaging 
  • Experienced marketer that understands how to use the full marketing toolkit
  • Technically savvy and intellectually curious about new technologies and how they work to enable new customer solutions
  • Avid learner who has experience learning new markets and industries and devising solutions and marketing strategies to reach those markets
  • Strong teaming skills and experience to bring together diverse views
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Strong creative, problem solving, and strategic thinking abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to drive results on-time and with high quality
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and quantitative skills
