Tilda Research, based in San Francisco, is an innovator in clinical research execution. We focus on data integration, site-wide automation, and real-time operational metrics to enable faster bench-to-market solutions for our research partners. We operate a growing network of clinical research sites in the US, and our team has worked on over 250 pan-indication Phase I thru IV studies. We are currently in stealth and have a limited web presence (we are a scaling post-Series A startup). Our founders are successful serial entrepreneurs, with three of their past companies leading to IPOs (VMware, MobileIron) or exits (LexentBio acquired by Roche).

The Product Marketing Lead will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for our clinical research technology platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, business development, and clinical operations to craft compelling value propositions, define target segments, and deliver impactful go-to-market plans. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, product expertise, marketing acumen, and strong communication skills to effectively position our products in the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Product Positioning and Messaging:- Develop clear and compelling value propositions for our clinical research technology platform, highlighting its unique features and benefits.- Craft messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences, addressing their pain points and showcasing the value our products deliver.- Collaborate with the product management team to translate technical capabilities into customer-focused messaging.
  •  Go-to-Market Strategy:- Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new launches and feature releases, ensuring successful market entry and adoption.- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.- Define target segments, buyer personas, and customer journey maps to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Content Creation and Collateral:- Create high-quality marketing content, including product collateral, presentations, case studies, white papers, and sales enablement materials.- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content for various channels, such as websites, blogs, social media, and email marketing.- Ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all marketing materials.
  • Sales/Business Development Enablement:- Enable the BD team with product knowledge, value propositions, and competitive differentiation to effectively sell our clinical research technology products.- Develop BD tools, training materials, and product demonstrations that align with the buyer's journey and address customer pain points.- Collaborate with BD leadership to establish sales enablement best practices and track the effectiveness of sales tools and resources.
  •  Product Launch and Marketing Campaigns:- Lead launches and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution, including messaging, positioning, collateral creation, and campaign planning.- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that generate leads, nurture prospects, and drive product adoption.- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in product marketing (5+ years) or related roles within the healthcare or life sciences industry, preferably in clinical research or technology.
  • Strong understanding of clinical research processes, regulatory requirements, and the challenges faced by researchers and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and marketing plans.
  • Proficient in market research, competitive analysis, and market segmentation.
  • Experience creating marketing collateral, content, and sales enablement materials.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving revenue and adoption targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
