The Impact You’ll Make 

As the Product Marketing, Business Experiences Lead you will lead a critical part of Nextdoor for business efforts and own Business and Public Agency Pages and Posts, their online presence and communication in neighborhoods. As Nextdoor grows you'll get to define, influence, and shape product strategy and plans, drive the health and growth of the business and develop and execute marketing plans. You'll help deliver new experiences to millions of customers worldwide over this next year, working through the customer journey, product experience, and GTM plans.

You will be an important hub of our marketing to SMBs. You should be excited to bring your experience and expertise every day to:  

  • Act as the product expert internally and externally for SMB partners
  • Partner with Product to help drive customer insights into the product roadmap
  • Perform regular voice-of-customer research, including Net-Promoter-Score surveys, customer interviews, and champion their voice to influence feature and roadmap prioritization
  • Ensure our Nextdoor’s products are understood, valued, and differentiated in the marketplace
  • Build compelling positioning and messaging to support marketing campaigns that generate demand, grow customer love, and differentiate the solution in the market
  • Work with cross-functional partners to manage expectations and develop a cohesive and scalable GTM 
  • Partner with cross functional teams on growth efforts
  • Support strategic business planning for organic engagement and revenue growth

What You’ll Bring to The Team

This is a highly visible role that will require expertise in several areas: 1) collaborating and developing strong relationships with cross-functional partners across the company;2) excellent written and verbal communication skills; and 3) customer empathy and passion for problem-solving.

  • Minimum of 10 years working experience and 3 years experience in a product marketing capacity  
  • Experience marketing products to SMBs 
  • Successful track-record of cross-functional collaboration with teams, contributors, and stakeholders across multiple seniority levels 
  • Proven track record in planning and orchestrating strategic and complex business activities 
  • Experienced storyteller with strong messaging and content development skills 
  • Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment and reprioritize to align with business objectives 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute efficiently and effectively 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
