Mission for the Role
Heard is looking for its first Product Marketing leader to play a critical role in building out our evolving positioning and product marketing strategy. As an early marketing hire you have the opportunity to shape the go to market journey for the company and have outsized impact.
About the role
- You will know the Heard customer better than anyone, including a robust understanding of customer personas, and jobs to be done for each persona
- You will be the market expert, including a deep obsession with understanding every company in our landscape to drive the most effective positioning and messaging.
- You will lead and ensure the consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look-and-feel of all internal and external communications and marketing materials—coordinating and socializing with content, creative, sales and broader organization
- You will develop and execute B2B marketing plans that may include email campaigns, participation in industry conferences and events, webinars, PPC campaigns and website updates
- You can develop and execute go-to-market strategy and drive launches for our products
About the role
- 5-7+ years of relevant product marketing experience—ideally in a B2C / SMB SaaS environment
- You have multiple experiences at early-stage, high growth startups
- You have an extensive track record of launching B2C / SMB SaaS products, executing complex GTM strategies, and outperforming the competition
- You have experience working with industry-leading Marketing Ops, email marketing, social media marketing, SEO/SEM, and other digital marketing software

- Inspired by and plugged into what other similar/analogous companies are doing.
- Deeply obsessed with mastering their craft; non-stop learner
- Every Heard marketer will: Personally consult or onboard 50 customers, until you know them completely inside out, as well as the founders
- Be T shaped - and therefore able to contribute to topics adjacent to subject matter expertise and provide coverage
