The Team You’ll Work With

As a Product Marketing Lead at Carta you will lead all end-to-end product marketing initiatives for a product line and audience vertical. You will be instrumental in shaping the growth and success of the product through your partnership with Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Strategy, and Brand Marketing. 

As a member of Carta’s Product Marketing team, you will be the driving force behind getting products to market - and keeping them there. The ultimate role of a product marketer is to tell compelling product and customer stories.

The Product Marketing team is focused on three things: 

  • Improving product roadmaps by serving as the voice of the customer
  • Driving adoption and utilization of new & existing features 
  • Aligning and enabling internal teams to tell the right story about Carta’s products 

The Problems You’ll Solve  

  • Lead Carta into market solutions and products that leverage the power and depth of Carta’s network in the private markets ecosystem
  • Work across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to design and drive adoption of personal finance products and features among Carta users
  • Conduct market research and customer interviews to help define core personas and target companies 
  • Develop value props, messaging, and positioning for Carta’s personal finance product suite 

About You

  • You have working Product Marketing experience, preferably in financial services
  • A learning mindset; Carta sits at the intersection of software, private markets, public markets, and other capital markets players - we learn new things every day
  • Deep understanding of wealth-related financial products is preferred
  • Motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Understand the strategic important of our target audiences, and how they make buying decisions
  • Diagnose problems, isolate them into their component parts, and drive towards creative solutions
  • Be intimately familiar with business goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, especially to executives
