Joining Collibra’s Product Marketing team
- The Product Marketing team shapes the message to the market about our products. Understanding the competitive landscape, our technology, and what matters most to customers, the Product Marketing Director will create impactful messaging and positioning for their assigned solutions.
- The Product Marketing team marries the message with content and crafts material that creates demand and changes perception.
- As the Product Marketing Director, you’ll work closely with the marketing team as well as Product Management to bring products to market and continually cultivate demand for growth.
The Product Marketing Director, Catalog at Collibra is responsible for:
- Driving the creation and execution of product GTM strategy and tactics in partnership with product management, sales leadership, demand generation and other marketing teams.
- Synthesizing market, competitive, analyst and customer insights to help guide product strategy and development, messaging and sales motion
- Developing and refining differentiated product messaging and collaborating with the broader marketing team to implement across channels.
- Driving cross-functional product and feature launches, coordinating the efforts of product management, sales enablement, marketing and partners.
- Creating engaging and differentiated top of funnel, middle of funnel and bottom of funnel content, such as blog posts, eBooks, whitepapers, webinars, demo videos and more.
- Developing enablement assets and delivering training to help BDRs, sales, customer success and partners understand buyer personas, pain points, key product capabilities and benefits.
- Working with the customer success team and our customers to get feedback on usage and roadblocks and leverage insights to create assets designed to accelerate adoption and expansion.
You have:
- 6+ years of product marketing experience in SaaS enterprise software, with experience marketing to data engineers, DataOps teams, or other technical buyers in the data management, data quality and data observability spaces.
- Experience creating high-impact GTM plans, product messaging, content and communications for prospects, customers and sales teams, and in measuring results.
- A proven track record of working effectively across product management, sales, customer success, enablement, industry marketing, AR/PR, field marketing and demand generation.
- Good understanding of the sales process for enterprise software and how best to support field teams and equip them for success.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required

- Passionate about value and outcome-based marketing with a strong understanding of key trends across the data management, data catalog and lineage spaces.
Measures of success:
- Within your first month, you will learn our and create a GTM plan that focuses on targeting the key buyer persona with differentiated messaging and tactics to expand awareness of our solution in the market, build pipeline and drive revenue.
- Within your third month, you will have identified your big bets and started to execute your plan by building out differentiated messaging, content, enablement and working with the marketing team on demand programs.
- Within your sixth month, you will measure, optimize and scale your GTM plans to continue to help drive pipeline, new logos and revenue, as well as accelerate adoption.
Compensation for this Role
The standard base salary range for this position is $184,000 - $253,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
