The Company:
At Springboard, we’re on a mission to bridge the world’s skills gap, offering transformative online education in data science, UI/UX design, machine learning, cybersecurity and coding. Our courses may be tech-enabled, but we're ultimately human-centric: each student taps into a vast community throughout their time with us, engaging with fellow students, industry-expert mentors, student advisors, and career coaches, the goal of which is to successfully transition students into their dream job. Through this hybrid approach, we’ve helped thousands of learners revamp their careers and, by extension, their lives, with hundreds of top-notch job offers received every year and a near-perfect placement rate for our program graduates.
The Opportunity:
We’ve seen incredible revenue growth so far and have branched into University Partnerships -- think of it as a startup within a startup! We’re now looking for a Product Marketing Associate to join the team to scale revenue through support of new product launches and the development of deeper student understanding that can help drive business initiatives and growth.
As Springboard’s University Partnership Product Marketing Associate, you’ll assist with product marketing research, including collecting feedback and data from students to develop a deeper understanding of our product fit. As you build insights that can fuel marketing strategy and positioning, you’ll work cross functionally to make sure recommendations are implemented to help us reach our user acquisition goals. You’ll assist with new product launches by developing launch assets, like syllabi and microsite imagery, and supporting marketing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support product launch marketing operations. This may include the development of collateral, such as syllabi and study guides. This may also include some copywriting and building of micro sites within a CMS.
- Assist with conducting product marketing research to understand market, product, and competitive dynamics. Compile findings and recommendations, and support execution.
- Assist the development of customer personas for each bootcamp segment.
- Assist with ongoing marketing efforts, including microsite updates, monthly email deployments, and more.
You:
- Bring 1+ years of marketing experience, preference for experience directly in product marketing.
- Are a strong communicator who can go from research to sharing knowledge rapidly.
- Are proficient working within a CMS and have some copywriting experience.
- Enjoy working on projects where data and creativity intersect.
- Are inquisitive and curious. You enjoy researching complex topics and distilling insights into succinct, actionable recommendations.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with many teams: marketing, admissions, tech, product, and more.
- Excel in high-growth startup environments: you’re fearless, comfortable with ambiguity and challenges, proactive, resourceful, resilient, opportunistic, always experimenting and exploring, and a fast learner.
