Product Marketer

We are looking for an experienced product marketer to join our team and help us optimize our in-app marketing experience and feature marketing. This person should be a user-experience obsessed techie who can approach problems from both an analytical and a creative perspective.

You will be the first product marketer on the team and you will build the foundation for how Universe does product marketing.

This role will report to the Marketing Lead and you will work very closely with the greater marketing team, as well as cross-functionally with design, product, and growth.

Define and drive a product-specific marketing agenda, including, but not limited to, uncovering in-app engagement and monetization opportunities and originating product-native campaigns.

Work closely with the product team to understand the full scope of initiatives impacting marketing and lead all consumer-facing efforts that relate to product features and updates.

Work with design to create assets for both in-app and external use, including for use in social and email campaigns.

Work with the growth team to design, implement and analyze experiments that will increase engagement and conversion.

Be the voice of the user for all internal stakeholders, especially those who sit further away from the marketing or product teams.

3+ years of product marketing experience at a software company

Direct experience with conducting user research and using insights to drive strategic initiatives

Strong data analysis skills

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams

Nice to have: prior experience with consumer-facing apps. Must have: lots of enthusiasm for the specific opportunity we're tackling at Universe!
