Who we’re looking for
In order to keep up the pace with our growth, the Consumer Banking team, based in Berlin, is looking for a marketing manager who can support the go-to-market for our deposit products and activities. The team is responsible for driving commercial success and optimized deposit inflow of our products together with product management, treasury, sales, and marketing. The marketing manager will build, support and execute the go-to-market plans for new and existing products, including acquisition and/or engagement and retention strategies, as well as supervising asset development and implementation across all touchpoints and markets.

What you will do
Like everyone at Klarna, we expect you to roll up your sleeves. No job is too big, no job is too small. You’ll play an important role in developing and executing marketing plans for launches and campaigns across markets. In collaboration with product, marketing, treasury, analytics, and local markets, you’ll be responsible for the commercial success of our products and services, by optimizing deposit inflow and feeding a strong brand. You should be comfortable toggling between strategy and hands-on execution and have strong project management skills .You’ll be working with a number of other domains and disciplines to generate a successful and smoooth consumer journey.

We expect you to
Develop marketing and distribution strategies and plans for new and existing productsPush the envelope when increasing preference for Klarna’s deposit productsLead campaign development and run implementation for owned and paid channels, incl. comparison and affiliate sitesManage and execute projects by collaborating with cross functional teamsChallenge convention and drive outstanding consumer experience Collaborate with central and local teams to ensure campaigns are tailored to deposit, consumer and market needsOwn product growth KPIs

Who you are
You should know your skills, since you'll be doing hands-on work from the get-go. That means we expect you to have completed at least 3-5 years in the financial and marketing industry and are familiar with the German and European market. You should really feel that you can contribute to our future growth. You’re comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively, and you’re experienced in campaign thinking and result driven execution. If you speak German, that’s a merit. 

Core skills
3-5 years of marketing experience from a financial corporation or agency, preferably on the German market. 

Proven track-record from financial marketing positions and a passion for detail and execution

Ability to proactively prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects within time constraints and with strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional work

Combination of analytic and creative mind-set

Excellent strategic and project management skills

Good listener and understanding for cross-functional stakeholders

A positive, go-getter attitude; passion for detail and helping build a growing brand.  

Fluency in the German language
