Toast Websites is a creative toolkit and hosting platform that allows restaurants to easily build SEO-ready websites to grow their business. The Websites team is focused on every aspect of this product, from onboarding customers to providing them the tools to build sites to taking them live and ensuring that the sites meet a high bar of quality.  This group is highly product oriented, with a laser-focus on creating top tier consumer experiences for restaurants and their guests.  We operate like a small startup with high ambitions and a focus on speed, experimentation, and iteration.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

We are looking for a Product Manager for Toast Websites, a critical pillar of the Toast Digital Storefront. This person should have a passion for creating impactful digital experiences and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You love solving complex problems, embrace iteration, and are energized by building zero-to-one and one-to-many products. You’re grounded in customer feedback, cross-functional collaboration, and a drive to translate insight into outcomes. Most importantly, you believe that strong teams build strong products and strive to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance environment.

This role is a unique opportunity for a product manager who wants to shape the future of how restaurants establish and grow their online presence. Toast Websites is a foundational part of our omni-channel strategy, helping restaurants turn their digital storefront into a growth engine. You’ll build on a solid product foundation, shape and execute a roadmap that drives activation and adoption, and help restaurants grow by delivering best-in-class web experiences. Responsibilities include:

• Own the product roadmap for Toast Websites to help restaurants build and launch high-performing websites that drive guest engagement.
• Develop deep customer empathy across a range of restaurant types through interviews, usability testing, feedback sessions, data analysis, and input from internal teams.
• Author clear product requirements and partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to bring new features to life.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to drive adoption and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Identify new growth and engagement opportunities, integrations, and partnerships, including exciting ways to integrate AI tools into the product.
• Act as a steward of team culture, helping create an environment where everyone can do their best work and grow.
• Inform the product’s direction through customer interviews, quantitative analysis, and rigorous prioritization.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Qualities & Essential Skills)

• 2–4 years of product management experience, ideally with high-growth digital products
• Demonstrated ability to drive a product’s success for both customer and the business
• Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, design, marketing)
• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset - autonomy is essential
• Eagerness to grow your product craft and stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and tools, including the use of AI tools
• Able to think creatively, strategically, and tactically to solve moonshot problems iteratively
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences
