Role Overview

WeWork is seeking an experienced and motivated Product Manager for Value-Add Products to support the Product Development team in building and maintaining a streamlined global ancillary revenue business that focuses on non-office related products. Those products currently include, but are not limited to the following: Office Add-ons, Printing, Credit bundles, Parking, Lockers and Storage.

This position will assess the state of the current offering and help shape the future of the various Value-Added products to drive elevated member satisfaction while achieving revenue targets.  The Add-ons Product Manager will own strategy and planning for the product line, go-to-market and operations. The product manager will be responsible for driving results in multiple areas of the business including operations enablement, sales enablement, reporting, analytics, and financial operations.  This role will directly impact our ability to scale internationally by identifying blockers and improving processes across systems and teams including sales, finance, and service delivery for the global business.  The Product Manager will leverage analytics to uncover and explore insights to increase sales performance and profits. This is a hands-on role with a high level of autonomy to identify, roadmap, and solve challenges across systems to drive elevated member satisfaction while achieving revenue targets. They will work closely with the Product Development teams to educate and inform new offerings and craft a compelling narrative that is strategically sound and differentiated. This position will partner with cross-functional teams and strategic external partners to coordinate all aspects of the retail process.

The ideal candidate is a team player and a holistic, out of the box thinker who can own and manage various products simultaneously. 

Responsibilities

  • Operations

    • Maintain and improve established processes.

    • Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.

    • Drive the continuous improvement of product operations including auditing processes across the sales and delivery cycle.  Focus on identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, revenue performance, and reporting as well as drive efficiencies including eliminating or decreasing manual processes and increasing data quality.

  • Research

    • In-depth research and audit of the current processes in place

    • Discussions with all internal and external stakeholders to gain a comprehensive view of the the current issues, bottlenecks and best practices

    • Document existing processes and procedures with the ability to distill those findings into a simple narration

  • Strategy & Planning

    • Develop and improve product strategy for existing and net new products.

    • Deliver product plans including roadmaps, revenue & margin forecasts, pricing, etc..

    • Work closely with the technology team and 3rd party vendors to deliver product improvements and operational plans.

  • Go-to-Market

    • Create go-to-market strategies and plans to drive awareness and ensure sales teams are equipped with the right training, collateral, and sales tools to effectively represent the  products and engage with potential customers.

    • Use analytics to identify underperforming products or regions,  scale products that have demonstrated market fit, and drive global sales adoption.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant experience

    • Must be able to work as a team across a variety of departments to ensure awareness and comprehension

    • Be a collaborative forward thinker

  • Skills

    • Should have product operations or management experience

    • Should have product launch experience and taking new concepts and ideas to the consumer

    • Should have experience distilling complex concepts and presenting to multiple stakeholders

    • Be familiar with the following platforms: Tableau, Google Drive/Meet, Google Sheets, JIRA

    • Familiarity with real estate a plus

    • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple points of contact
