Product Manager - Tock

The Tock product team is looking for a product manager! You’ll join a mission-driven team and company dedicated to supporting restaurants and the hospitality industry. We’re building innovative and powerful tools that fundamentally change how restaurants, wineries, and culinary businesses operate. We’re creating a search and discovery network that connects these businesses with millions of diners around the world, giving consumers a trusted guide to find delicious experiences, from destination-worthy and award-winning spots to neighborhood favorites.

Our product has grown in every direction to empower this fast growing and wide-ranging customer base. We look to our product teams to solve hard problems - customer and business problems - in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. As a product manager, you’ll contribute to your product team with a knowledge of business constraints, an understanding of our users and how they engage with our products, and by keeping up with product trends.

You will report directly to the Senior Product Manager and will be a full-time position located in Chicago.

All Squarespace and Tock employees are working remotely at this time. We are closely monitoring the status of COVID-19 as we continue our work to build a return-to-work plan that ensures a safe return to our offices and provides flexibility for our employees.

You’ll Get To… 

• Guide product development of the products and product solutions in your scope
• Work alongside our Product, Engineering and Design teams to establish and prioritize our product goals
• Develop an understanding of Tock’s users by conducting research, data analysis, and feedback sessions
• Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Account Management and Hospitality, to gather, understand, and analyze customer feedback
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to compare our product lines against industry trends

Who We’re Looking For 

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing technology-powered products
• You have an understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
• You’re able to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, assess risks, and lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed manner
• You have experience building relationships with teammates, and helping the team make data driven decisions to accomplish business goals
• You can successfully communicate complex information in clear and concise manner
• You are a proactive go-getter, who loves to solve challenging problems
