Regional Solutions and Digital Partnerships (RSDP) at VISA work with our clients and internal teams to explore and bring new ideas to the regions in the form of live pilots and POCs. The RSDP team at VISA collaborates with regional product teams to deliver these solutions across the world.

RSDP is looking for a TPM in our Foster City center, who is passionate about innovating, learning new technologies and working with the developers in a fast-paced agile environment. Successful candidates will be highly adaptable, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and able to effectively manage multiple work streams. The ideal candidate for this position will have more than eight years of technical product management experience with an ability to think tactically as well as strategically. The person should be able to collaborate closely with the product team to understand the user experience requirements and produce technical specifications for the development team. An ideal candidate will be able to actively participate and contribute to technical architecture discussions with the dev team and the system architects. Some background in a payment related industry will be a plus.

Accountabilities- General

• Technical product management functions include writing functional specs, building roadmap, issue/risk management, and defining success criteria for pilots.
• Extensive cross-organization collaboration with internal VISA groups and external partners to ensure that requirements are clearly captured.
• Interface with various technology teams and business stakeholders to identify requirements, converting them to functional specs, prioritizing, and driving execution.
• Define project milestones in collaboration with program management group and ensure that the teams deliver on those milestones without delays and meeting quality.
• Represent product team in engineering team meetings and highlight all risks and road blocker issues including external dependencies. Lead the team to put a plan together for resolving any open issues.
• Partner with product management and business teams to define the product pipeline.
• Own the feature roadmap for internal engineering platforms and align the roadmap based on the new payments flow requests coming from different regions.
• Work closely with the engineers and contribute to the development of design artifacts and quality assurance test plans
• Plan and conduct user acceptance testing with key stakeholders, Bug bashes, and hackathons
• Own and develop clear and concise product collateral in order to document the pilot requirements and technical architecture document. 
• Provide updates and highlight any technical issues on weekly basis to the executive management
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure on-time/quality delivery

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
