Product Manager - Technical job at Sisu

At Sisu, we're building a software platform that empowers people to make better decisions using data. Based on years of cutting-edge research at Stanford, the platform helps businesses understand why their key metrics are changing. We use novel data mining and machine learning techniques to produce insights in real-time and deliver them through an elegant, modern web interface. Product Managers drive Sisu’s product strategy and execution, turning user needs and opportunities into a product roadmap.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to work closely with our Cloud Platform and ML team to invent and drive multiple new features/capabilities. In Analytics, speed at large scales is critical for a magical customer experience. You will be in charge of making Sisu 10x faster to analyze data at very large scales across various cloud data-warehouse platforms and products. As the first PM in this area, you’ll have a unique opportunity to define a product vision and partner closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to execute on the vision.

What you'll accomplish

Lead the definition and delivery of key features Sisu’s cloud infrastructure and to speed up Sisu’s metric analysis capabilities 10x as we scale to ever larger data sizes that customers need to analyze
Lead the definition and delivery of key features to provide Customers with programmatic/API access to Sisu
Own customer facing data storage and security related features, policies and communications
Interact regularly with existing and prospective business customers to gain a deep understanding of our users and their needs
Collaborate tightly with Design and Engineering to determine what we build and how we build it
Work closely with the founding team to develop and execute our product strategy and roadmap
Help shape the team culture and product direction as we grow

What you'll need to be successful

2-5 Years of experience as a PM in B2B SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products
Previous experience as a software engineer working on cloud infrastructure or cloud data-warehouse architecture
Experience building and shipping products of a technical nature (e.g. APIs, IaaS etc)
Familiarity (and ideally past experience) in contemporary analytics and BI platforms
Passion for tackling large, nebulous problem spaces with a user-centered design thinking approach
Comfort navigating and leading teams through ambiguity
Ability to influence, motivate and inspire cross-functional partners
