The Role

The product manager for the SupplyTech squad will help own and execute the end-to-end solution that optimizes Portfolio Management and Supply Chain processes at CookUnity. Our customers expect the best quality and variety, and the SupplyTech squad is the driving force behind delivering scalable and seamless meal experiences that are above and beyond customer expectations.

From recipe creation and catalog management to menu planning, label design, inventory, and distribution, you will help ideate and guide the technology that transforms business vision into actionable initiatives. Along with the Senior Product Manager of the squad, you will be in charge of defining a strategy and roadmap that balances the daily incremental improvements with big-bet innovations in pre-production.

As a product manager in the SupplyTech squad, you’ll partner with product design, engineering, data, cross-functional squads, and our own Portfolio and Supply Chain teams to drive the product strategy, OKRs, and roadmap. You’ll lead experimenting and delivering outcomes at a rapid pace while collaborating closely with our internal teams to drive the best possible experience for our chef and customers.

This is a full-time hire.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior PM in driving Squad strategy and leading and facilitating all squad processes.
  • Help the Squad identify and prioritize high-potential ideas to work on that deliver on that strategy.
  • Understand stakeholder needs and pain points, collaborate with the Senior PM to create product or process solutions to solve these needs.
  • Guide the Squad in prioritizing work and driving cross-team collaboration to unblock projects and achieve roadmap goals.
  • Learn from users via research best practices (in partnership with our UX Research Team).
  • Keep internal and external team members up-to-date.
  • Write clear, efficient product specs.
  • Deliver outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in product management (Bonus point: with at least 1 year working on the supply-side of a marketplace);
  • You are able to frame the right problem, generate and prioritize ideas, involving key stakeholders in the process.
  • You have excellent communication skills, especially when it comes to articulating business logic to technical partners and inspiring a distributed team.
  • You have technical proficiency with Product Management tools such as writing stories, performing analytics, building wireframes & prototypes, QA testing, and user research.
  • You can effectively balance resolving critical issues that pop up with making fundamental strategic investments.
  • A strong data-driven, analytical mindset to set hypotheses, narrow in on opportunities, and drive impact on KPIs.
  • Fluency in English

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience with industry tools such as Jira, Shortcut, Figma, or any ERP software in the food & beverage space is a plus.
  • Comfort with or interest in learning the basics of technical tools such as SQL databases and Postman.
  • You are a DO-er. You get things done with others and across teams with a problem-solving mindset and avoid unnecessary conflict.
  • You are detail-oriented and care deeply about delivering small or large features with exceptional quality.
  • You are comfortable with leading kickoffs, writing SOPs, and delivering product presentations to stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • You enjoy working in small teams in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • You have a growth mindset and believe in setting super-ambitious goals and learning from both success and failure.
