As a Product Manager in our Global Bank Tribe, you’ll be part of the Transfers Excellence squad which is on a mission to empower the SumUp bank customers with a best-in-class digital banking experience by providing fast, intuitive, and secure payments through an API first approach and an architecture that allows easy extension with new payment methods and schemes. We enable small business owners to effortlessly open a current bank account, and to initiate and receive bank transfers the way they expect.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with Product Analysts, User Researches, Product Designers and other teams to gather insights, understand pain points, validate ideas, and build a roadmap that creates value for our Business Account merchants and makes a measurable impact on the business
  • Prioritise and organise the squad work using product development best practices, track and drive the squad OKRs in line with our Product strategy
  • Encourage accountability within your squad and create a strong two-way feedback loop
  • Work closely with Content, Localization, Marketing, and Support teams to launch new features and products and drive product awareness and adoption
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders like Risk & Fraud, Legal and Compliance to align on priority, regulatory requirements, and risk tolerance
  • Regularly share insights and results across the tribe and to the broader SumUp organisation.

You’ll be great for this role if you have

  • You have 4-5 years in product management in an agile organisation
  • You have worked on technical B2B products, ideally in the banking and financial services industry
  • You are able to maintain multiple initiatives without compromising results
  • You appreciate incremental software development with a focus on value delivery
  • You have the ability to use different leadership styles and situational awareness to keep the team moving forward in even the most complex situations
  • You have expertise in how to achieve success and buy-in through influence and strong stakeholder & project management skills
  • You are a self-assured communicator, confident and impactful as a leader
  • You are a feedback champion
  • You’re fluent in English, both spoken and written
