Product Manager, Square Staff Onboarding

"Square Staff" represents our ability to provide a comprehensive solution; including Square Payroll, Time-Cards, Scheduling, Staff messaging, and beyond.

We are looking for an experienced product manager to build out the future of onboarding to Square Staff, starting with Payroll. You will establish and optimize the onboarding experience for Square Staff sellers and their employees. This includes full-stack ownership of the user interface, platform and data layers. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, analysts, marketing and other teams to move quickly towards delivering and scaling a remarkable offering for small business owners and their hourly employees. You will help us identify and deliver the projects, features, and products that can have the largest impact for our existing and potential customers. You will report to the Head of Product for Square Staff, who leads the Labor, Communications, Payroll and Team Management product areas.

You Will: 

• Conduct extensive research to understand customer needs and current market solutions
• Use that research to create a compelling product vision and strategy
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver projects against that vision and strategy
• Thoughtfully establish and communicate project goals, requirements, and constraints
• Work with engineers and designers to continuously improve the service and product
• Collaborate cross-functionally with almost every other function in Square: Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk
