You will be a Product Manager for Databrick SQL (https://databricks.com/product/databricks-sql) which is a serverless data warehouse on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Databricks SQL lets you run all your SQL and BI applications at scale with great price/performance, a unified governance model across clouds, open formats and APIs, and integration with the modern data stack tools of choice.

You will coordinate all product activities from vision to implementation, including engaging large enterprise customers to understand their needs, developing long-term product strategy, defining product roadmaps, working with engineering to build those products, and coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders (both pre- and post-launch) to ensure product success.

The impact you will have:

  • Define the end-to-end user experience for customer success running data warehouse workloads on Databricks.
  • Take new features you envision from ideation / exploration with customers to full launch and rollout, including marketing plan and field enablement.
  • Help customers migrate and improve extracting knowledge from their data.
  • Build a large new business, in a competitive market, that delivers differentiated value to customers.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of Product Management or relevant Engineering Leadership position
  • Educational background in computer science or related engineering practice
  • Experience working with databases and/or data warehouses.
  • Experience delivering products with cross-functional teams common to enterprise software industry (field engineering, sales, marketing, partnerships, etc.)
  • Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions (e.g. analyze product usage)
  • Communicate complex topics to stakeholders (engineers, customers, etc.) in written and verbal form
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and channel partners in the enterprise software industry
