About Us

At WeWork, we provide inspiring and flexible workplace solutions to help businesses - small, medium or large - thrive in more than 150 cities globally. The future of work is happening right now, and we are leading this moment. United by a common purpose, here we will empower tomorrow’s world at work. Join us on our journey as we give our members the freedom and support to push boundaries in their industries, and work to redefine our own.

About The Opportunity

The future of work is flexibility. Wework is at the forefront of this future, building a flexible real estate platform that lets members and partner organizations experience and create best-in-class workspace solutions.

Hundreds of thousands of members around the world rely on our applications to book spaces at WeWork locations, get support, learn about and gain entry to their building, invite guests, and work efficiently while in our spaces. WeWork is adapting to the realities of a post-pandemic world and seeking to support new members and new flexibility at work.  Our technology must rapidly adapt to support this changing industry.

This role will be focused on re-designing the way our internal employees and our franchise and landlord stakeholders use our systems and software.  These tools will further allow us to expand our core business, as well as grow the number of franchise and landlord locations operated using WeWork’s software.  The role will be to boot-strap a brand new feature set and will collaborate across all aspects of the technology organization, working with stakeholders to solve complex problems the right way.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products and services that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver WeWork’s vision and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product strategy and execution for core services at WeWork, and translate this into clearly defined product requirements

  • Develop relationships with our internal customers to deeply understand the end-to-end member experiences that these services support.  Clearly communicate the connection between member experience and their features.

  • Own product performance by setting proper success metrics and tracking them in a way to maintain accountability and also inform the future product roadmap.  Combine this insight to scope and prioritize activities based on customer and business impact

  • Lead cross-functional groups from engineering, design, and other disciplines in an Agile methodology with well-defined sprints, incremental delivery, and forward-looking roadmaps.

  • Get in the weeds: write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test the services yourself as they are being built.

  • Evangelize the services within the technology domain to promote adoption, and stay close to our customers to learn from real-world usage.

Requirements:

  • You have 2+ years of product management experience in dynamic companies focused on delivering software

  • You’ve shipped at least a couple API-based products, and have managed all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

  • You have strong technical acumen and can communicate effectively with developers - both those building your products as well as those consuming them

  • You never lose sight of the ultimate end user experiences that your products support and can articulate technical requirements in those terms

  • Your communication skills are outstanding, and have proven ability to effectively convey complex technical recommendations to executive management

  • It would be very nice, though not strictly necessary, if you had experience with:

    • Developing customer-facing user experiences

    • SQL

    • Data visualization tools

Here we challenge ideas, and explore new ways of getting things done. Whether you are part of our Employee Community Groups, or part of a global project, we ask you to bring your open-minded attitude and collaborative spirit. In return, you will be part of a team where your unique perspectives are celebrated.

WeWork is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. We do not discriminate based upon gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil status, pregnancy (or pregnancy-related conditions), gender identity or expression, transgender status or gender reassignment, race, color, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, religion or religious beliefs, age, physical or mental disability, genetic information (including genetic testing and characteristics), military or veteran status, or any other grounds or characteristic that is protected under the law.

As part of our commitment to health and safety, WeWork -- like a growing number of employers -- is requiring all U.S. employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of employment, absent a legal exception for reasonable accommodation.  We provide unvaccinated new hires a 45-day grace period after their start date to get fully vaccinated or, if eligible, obtain a reasonable accommodation.  If you believe that a legal exception may apply to you, please still apply for any role(s) you are interested in and, if you are hired, you will receive instructions on how to request a reasonable accommodation after your start date.  Please note that roles that require in-person work -- currently, within our Community (excluding Member Experience), Facilities Management (including Security), Sales (excluding Sales Ops), and Member Technology teams -- will not be eligible for work-from-home as an accommodation because it poses an undue hardship on our business.

WeWork will not cover the cost of relocation for this position. Should your application be successful, you would be responsible for your own relocation expenses.
