The team
Our Product & Program Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

This position
As Product Manager - Sign, Adoption and Growth, you will develop the roadmap, vision, and priorities that will help drive adoption among and growth of DocuSign’s millions of paying customers and signers worldwide. You will be a champion of customers and consumers alike. Based on qualitative and quantitative insights, you will inform product directions that drive measurable impact. You will leverage innovative technologies and rapid experimentation to deliver impactful innovations and a world class user experience that drive top-level business outcomes and redefine the “state-of-the-art” for the eSignature industry. You will work with a team of highly motivated individuals. You will champion a product management culture that focuses on delivering impact, customer delight, data-driven decision making and fast yet diligent execution.

Product Managers at DocuSign are the CEOs of their product and ship features that make our customers successful. PMs work cross-functionally with customers, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, UX, Support, etc. to define product vision, gather requirements, execute on the feature, and drive product launches.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Management and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and roadmap for key growth initiatives within eSignature, with clear focus on driving business results, and customer delight and engagement 
  • Identify opportunities for continuous testing and optimization and execute on the experimentation roadmap, from initial hypothesis to measurement and learning
  • Prioritize opportunities, define requirements, and execute cross-functionally to take ideas from concept to launch
  • Translate product requirements into developer-ready JIRA user stories and acceptance criteria and drive prioritization of the backlog 
  • Understand market & customer needs by working closely with Customers, Consumers, User Research, Data Science, and Marketing
  • Apply your understanding of both business and consumer audiences to drive the next generation of eSignature innovations
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • Monitor, measure and report on key business and customer metrics
  • Build strong and trusted partnerships with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Management
  • Critical thinking/analytical experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience innovating and taking a product or major feature from concept to launch
  • Experience building with two-sided products
  • Experience applying user research and experimentation/A/B testing to inform roadmap and feature development
  • Desire to challenge the status quo and help drive change within a team
  • Comfort failing coupled with ability to rapidly course correct
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
  • Master’s degree
