At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

We’re looking for an experienced product manager to improve our Website Security & Performance products and build value for our customers. As a Sr. Product Manager – Security Products, you will take ownership for unifying GoDaddy’s Website Security and Performance capabilities into a seamlessly intuitive experience for both internal and external GoDaddy customers. You’ll be responsible for establishing and leading a roadmap for key initiatives that focus on delivering the best experiences.

The role requires an experimentation method to learn and iterate, passion for building outstanding products that customers love to use, appreciation for working with great engineers, willingness to do what it takes to help the field grow the business, wisdom to make tough tradeoffs and keep up with a high pace growth environment. The person taking this role will build value for our customers and drive growth in our business, by accelerating the high-impact and high-leverage work required to make our Security products more compelling. What you'll get to do...

  • Establish and drive a solid roadmap for Security Product Experiences in collaboration with other Product Managers, UX, Marketing, and Engineering.
  • Lead the backlog for your assigned products including delivering comprehensive user stories using experimentation to validate hypotheses and constantly improve the user experience.
  • Work shoulder to shoulder with a high caliber engineering team to deliver high quality products.
  • Drive release planning activities with cross functional teams and regular product review sessions.
  • Holistically look at the Website Security & Performance market, customer needs, trends, and competitors to resolve opportunities for GD’s Security business.
  • Proactively engage with the customers and GD support team; actively listen to their challenges and help craft appropriate solutions that are in line the overall Security strategy and what’s best for the customer.
  • Monitor and analyze financial and technical KPI's and report to leadership.
  • Leverage diplomacy, integrity, and presence to enable you to work effectively at all levels within a large organization.
  • Demonstrate a positive demeanor and flexibility to jump in and roll-up your sleeves when the situation demands.
  • Collaborate with marketing, support teams and other partners to drive revenue opportunities.
  • Be agile and action oriented

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, working with B2B2C Internet/software products, with growing levels of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated curiosity for understanding customers, distilling both quantitative and qualitative insights - ability to translate those into compelling product strategies.
  • Proven track record to work across gaps and silos to nurture support and alignment.
  • Able to identify and drive simplification of customer experience and underlying technology at a product level as well as across multiple products.
  • Proven experience in using data to cultivate understanding and create focus on optimizations and as well as innovation that deliver customer value and generate business and shareholder value.
  • Demonstrates hypothesis-grounded validation of roadmaps and experiments.
  • Excellent team influence, prioritization, and communication know-how, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work closely with collaborators.
  • Propensity to work in an involved and diverse environment.
  • Focus on key business goals and implementing plans with constrained resources.
