Product Manager, Savings

The Square Banking team builds tools that allow millions of small businesses around the globe to better manage their cash flow. The legacy financial system relies on long-standing and often-unfair conventions like outdated fees and onerous applications. We are building better business banking by seamlessly integrating payments and banking in one place, without the frustrations and hassles of incumbent banks.

As Product Manager for Square Savings, you will help small businesses manage cash flow in the mid to long term so they can save money for taxes and rainy days. The team focuses on helping sellers 1) organize and plan 2) spend the budget according to plan 3) save and build wealth in the long term. As a product manager, you will build new banking features, and help small businesses to save time and prosper in innovative and delightful ways.

You Will:

• Lead product strategy for a complex and high-growth product
• Own and define the product roadmap based on a deep understanding of user needs, quantitative data, and industry trends
• Build thoughtful features that make people choose Square as their preferred bank of choice
• Seek continuous improvement, conduct experiments, and make informed decisions
• Manage products with autonomy throughout their lifecycle, from ideation to planning, execution, and launch
• Work across engineering, design, marketing, data science, finance, and many others across a globally distributed team
• Ship high impact features that are used and loved by millions of people around the world

• 3+ years of experience in product management
• Collaborative: you work well with partners across the entire company to achieve strategic results
• Customer-centric: you have customer empathy and experience shaping product direction based on customer needs
• Analytical: you are data-driven and use your quantitative skills to make product decisions
• Results-oriented: you are comfortable leading projects forward through ambiguity
• FinTech experience a plus
