The worldwide data management software market is massive (IDC forecasts it to be $138 billion by 2026!). At MongoDB we are transforming industries and empowering developers to build amazing apps that people use every day. We are the leading modern data platform and the first database provider to IPO in over 20 years. Join our team and be at the forefront of innovation and creativity.

MongoDB is one of the fastest-growing enterprise software companies in the world. To fuel this growth, we are hiring a Product Manager to partner with our sales leadership to develop products and tools that will allow our customers to use MondoDB Atlas more effectively.

Why?

As MongoDB scales we’re becoming more intelligent and datra driven about how we allocate our go-to-market (GTM) resources across customers and prospects. The sales tooling ecosystem doesn’t always fit the unique needs of MongoDB. It’s easy to take a disjointed tooling approach trying to solve individual point problems. At MongoDB we’re invested in building bespoke tools to help us understand the potential of prospect accounts and unlock the productivity of the sales organization

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Own the product roadmap of our bespoke sales applications
  • Accelerate your career through exposure to the most effective sales methodology and through working side by side with the best sales professionals in the industry
  • Get insights and experience first-hand how an effective, fast-paced organization operates through learning about marketing/sales processes, collaboration and tools
  • Establish a strong network of peers and mentors
  • Build tools that will drastically improve the customer experience and create a multiplier on the productivity of our GTM organization

Responsibilities

  • Build the roadmap for sales tooling at MongoDB by getting a close understanding of our various personas and use cases
  • Conitnue to drive adoption by leading enablement strategy with our GTM Enablement team
  • Ideate and create new tools that help bring productivity to the sales organization
  • Work closely with the Strategy & Planning team to determine how changes to tooling can create efficiencies for sales and inform changes in the sales process
  • Identify user needs and pains, and business opportunities through a combination of research, feedback collection, and analysis, and share your learnings with your colleagues

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of Product Management experience building enterprise software products and/or tech services and/or platforms
  • Ability to distil abstract challenges into strategy and break that down into a cohesive plan that empowers teams to turn problems into business success
  • Ability to think big and small - you should be comfortable whiteboarding a completely new experience or optimizing an existing workflow or process
  • The technical know-how to partner with engineering to work on the roadmap you define
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to bridge gaps and collaborate across design, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and users

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the region.

To drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone. From employee affinity groups, to fertility assistance and a generous parental leave policy, we value our employees’ wellbeing and want to support them along every step of their professional and personal journeys.
