Job Overview

As Rotera continues to expand services and scope of automation in the healthcare space, we are beginning to move from solely providing services to creating our own products. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to bring our web-based platform to life. This role will be integral in shaping the future of what we believe will be the foundation for most of our growth. This is an amazing opportunity to join at an early stage, truly own the shape of Rotera’s product lines, and experience exponential growth together.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new products and features through the entire product development lifecycle, from product vision through go-to-market execution

  • Conduct market and customer research to identify potential features or releases

  • Manage the roadmap, prioritize product opportunities, refine feature ideas and maintain existing features to drive business goals

  • Maintain and update existing features and prioritize based on customer feedback

  • Collaborate with customer, solution architecture, and engineering teams to produce detailed product requirements

  • Collaborate with support teams to understand trends in bugs and new feature requests

  • Create beautiful UI mockups, with high quality user experience, for engineering to develop from

  • Engage stakeholders in leadership, research, data, and support, and a coordinate across teams to maintain product and strategy alignment

  • Coordinate go-to-market strategies when launching a new product or feature

  • Develop marketing materials (with design support as needed) highlighting the features and benefits of products

  • Educate sales on product capabilities and roadmap to drive opportunities that the business can successfully deliver on

  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities to convert custom solutions into recurring products

  • Regularly provide updates on work progress, obstacles and blockers, and overall performance with execution and progress toward development

  • Create release notes for customer consumption

  • Work closely with engineering teams to align scope, technical mapping, and product requirements with development sprint planning and design

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • 4+ years of experience full-time professional experience within a technology company

  • 1+ years of experience in software product management

  • Successfully executed 1+ product launches

  • A proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to manage end-to-end product release.

  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to think outside the box and roll up one’s sleeves to get a job done

  • Agile framework experience with specific experience effectively documenting capabilities, business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • The flexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a rapidly changing environment, meeting aggressive market and customer expectations.

  • A passion for both giving and receiving feedback in an innovative teamwork environment.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively as a leader and peer with other functional team members including Technology, Strategy, Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Business Development.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues to varying audiences and levels

  • Outstanding project and time management skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision in a fast paced startup environment

  • Comfortable suggesting areas for improvement and willingness to lead improvement initiatives

  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills with the ability to interpret and anticipate customer needs in order to develop clear and attainable goals, objectives and execution of project plans

  • Strong self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Outstanding team player with the ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas

Preferred Skills

  • Previous healthcare product experience

  • Experience with HIPAA requirements

  • Previous Startup experience

  • Previous Agile framework experience
