About the role

Addi’s Risk Platform team builds our credit and fraud decisioning engine, powering thousands of decisions a day that shape the Addi user experience. The team uses data collected from users and third parties to answer questions like ‘how much credit we can extend to a user’ or ‘is this transaction fraudulent.’ These decisions are at the core of our products and require close collaboration with teams across Addi to ensure delightful product experiences.

In this role you will:

Shape and evangelize the vision for improving and scaling our credit decisioning systems
Use data and user research to deeply understand how these decisions impact users and merchants
Own the Risk Platform roadmap, define features and prioritize them
Partner with an all-star team of engineers, designers, risk analysts, data scientists and more – to bring features to market and measure their impact
Be a leader in communicating how Risk Platform affects Addi’s business model, so you can advocate for the best investments to grow the company

We're looking for someone who has:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to translate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated execution on high profile initiatives and creatively getting past roadblocks
Experience leading small to medium-sized teams
Strong ecosystem thinking and collaboration
Changes in Risk Platform touch every product surface at Addi
Excitement and curiosity about credit decisions and fintech products

Bonus qualifications:

Experience working on credit, risk, or fraud products
Experience building platforms or working on analytical products
Experience in high growth startups
