About the team

The Ecosystem Risk Product Management team builds trust in the internet economy. We enable online businesses to start and grow seamlessly, while safeguarding the ecosystem of consumers, merchants, and financial partners against financial crimes and harmful schemes.

What you’ll do

As PM for the Risk Review Tools team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for enabling excellent decisions at scale by our Risk operations team. 

You will:

  • Define the goals and multi-year roadmap for building tools that our Risk operations team depends on to assess our users for Risk
  • Deeply understand and articulate the problems our users are facing and how to solve them
  • Develop solutions that integrate human decision making process, machine learning, and artificial intelligence 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience building tooling infrastructure for conducting risk and compliance decisions at scale
  • Strong product sense, including user needs and approaches to solve them
  • Experience at the intersection of scaled decision making and machine learning systems
  • A talent for building shared service architecture that Risk teams can build and scale on top of
  • The ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
  • The ability to communicate well to the broader organization

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in tooling
  • Technical skills e.g., ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems, build a robust integration with the Stripe API, make meaningful contributions to high-stakes discussions on data modeling or software architecture, etc.
  • Preferred: experience with machine learning experience
